All I can say about the last few days is wow

Things are starting to come together and after the summer we have had I can't tell you how happy I am right now.

Tracy (my sister) arranged for her friend to come by on Sunday and install the new bathroom sink, faucet, and light fixtures. All was completed (only after I had to run down and buy 2 more sinks because the first 2 didn't fit), one minor problem, he installed the light fixtures upside down. Normally I would be a little upset but his brother is coming tomorrow to paint and will fix them.

Then on Monday the floor installers arrived at 8 a.m. and by 6 that evening I had new laminate flooring throughout the downstairs, it looks awesome!!!

I am almost kind of sad that we are selling our house because finally all the things I wanted done for the past 5 years are getting completed.

I was able to get some scrapping done over the past few days as well.

I have listed a new pre-made in my store title Con"GRAD"ulations

I am currently working on a fishing tear bear layout for auction and then have to get back to my boys albums.
Cheers til tomorrow!

What a great day, I love it when things get done!

The day started off early with the floor guys coming in to replace the lino in the laundry and downstairs bathroom. After having the water leak destroy all the floors downstairs it seems to have taken forever to get the jobs done. Now all seems to be coming together, the laminate goes in on Monday and then all should be done.

I actually did some work on my auction listings. I may be crazy but I have listed a 20 page custom layout for just 0.99 cents. I want to see if I can get the bidding going.

I also did some work on my pre-made pages, I am working on a graduation page and put together this paper pieced penguin

Then it was off to my Moms for my sisters birthday dinner. The kids were wonderful and I think Tracy liked her gift.
Oh and I came across a line I loved today in a book I am reading, it goes something like this
When life throws you lemons, grab a coffee and danish and wait it out. Love it :)

Not a very productive day for me

Today I had the humdrum (not sure if that's a word) feeling and it wouldn't go away. As a result I was not very productive. I didn't even look at my supplies let alone use them.

I did spend some time checking out others blogs and played a little wii with the kids, that's about it.

Seriously need the sun back, I want to go out and play like we were in the photo :)

A rainy blah day

Today started off with rain and it didn't stop, not the best summer day!
Trevor had swimming today in the morning and then it was time to get the house ready for more showings. One seemed interested, only time will tell.

I was able to get some scrapping done today for Trevors book, upload the pictures tomorrow.

We then took Trev out shopping for school clothes and his first backpack. Oh what a struggle that was, the choices, batman, spiderman, cars, kung fu panda, etc. He finally decided on the incredible hulk, it was a great choice I think.

When we returned we had a message from my mil letting us know that there was a deli meat recall, apparently causing a lot of illness and death. This was great to find out now considering we all ate deli meat for lunch and I just bought a bunch of it today. Oh well in the garbage it goes.
Here is the link about the recall:

Well that's it for today. Hoping for a sunnier day tomorrow.

Will I ever sell my house????

The end of August 19th and things are still the same around here.

It has been quite a trying time lately with the house be up for sale. We have had so much interest but for some reason it just never gets complete.

With so many things riding on this sale, my frustration level is peaking!!

I didn't get much scrapping done today, but I did manage to load my Halloween auction (strike that off the to do list).

The kids were great. Trev is doing awesome in his swimming and watching Brendan everyday learn to play is fantastic.

Well a few more showings tomorrow and hopefully a little more scrapping. Perfect weather for it!

Always wanted a journal

I have always wanted to write a journal but never found the time. So here it goes, the plan is to write every night about my day, hence the blog title, A day in the life of a scrapbooking addict SAHM. At this point in my life this is the perfect description!!
I have always wanted to be able to look back fondly on the memories I am creating today, as a scrapper you would think I would be able to scrap them. However for whatever reason I have only ever scrapped for my kids. One day the plan is to give them their books to take with them but who knows I may just end up keeping them for myself :)
Anyway at this time I am not sure just what direction this blog will go in it will be a work in progress, just like my life.
