Great weekend, productive and more

What a great weekend we had.

We started off with Trevor going to buddy bowling with Braiden, it was uncontrolled choas (sp?) but still fun to watch them.

After bowling Ror, Brendan, Trevor and I went to a local apple farm where we spent the afternoon not only picking apples but the kids were able to ride ponies (Brendans first time), play on a bouncing pillow, slides, and more. It was a great day.

Sunday we had an open house, not a big fan of these as I don't believe they will sell your house, but it doesn't hurt I guess.

Packed up the kids after hours of cleaning, ( I honestly don't know how the house gets so dirty so fast, lol), grabbed some take out KFC and had a picnic in the park. Played at the playground for an hour or so and then drove around looking at different neighbourhoods we may like.

So after dinner it was t.v. night for sure. Amazing Race, Cold Case, and Brothers and Sisters. My three favorite shows on one after the other. Doesn't allow me much time to get anything done but I was able to get the following layout done and I listed it today.

It is a fun halloween layout with 4 tear bears dressed in different costumes on their way to the haunted house.
This will probably be my last halloween layout for the season except for my boys books.

So it is off to bowling tonight, I have finished the stew for dinner, and I see more scrapping in my future tonight.

New ebay listings - yahoo!!!!

I have found the time to list two new auctions on ebay today.

The first is one that I have been working on for quite some time now.

On a non-scrapbooking note, Trev had his parent/teacher interviews last night. All is going well but we are dealing with a bully at school. We have to find a way to nip this quick before it becomes a bigger problem.
He is so excited to do the Terry Fox run tomorrow, thinking half way through it he will probably change his mind considering he isn't old enough to understand the significance of the run.



Well I am off to do some layouts for the boys books, working on a layout for Brendan, hopefully it will be done in time to load it tomorrow.

Where oh where did the time go

Well I had intended this blog to have a post everyday, considering it has almost been a month I don't think I have been keeping this up very well.
Well in my defense a lot has happened since the last entry.

We have re-listed the house with another realtor, I hope this works this time.
We have finished all the renovations, yahoo!!!
We celebrated our 12 anniversary. Great dinner out at Newlands.
Trevor started school, grade one already, I can hardly believe it.
Went to New York for a long weekend away with Mom and Tracy. I would love to post pictures of this trip but I forgot my camera, a scrapbooker that forgets her camera, I should be shot!!!!

Now I am back in the swing of things, I will be creating more layouts. Actually just finished one that will be listed tonight, and many more ideas swirling around in my head.

All I can say about the last few days is wow

Things are starting to come together and after the summer we have had I can't tell you how happy I am right now.

Tracy (my sister) arranged for her friend to come by on Sunday and install the new bathroom sink, faucet, and light fixtures. All was completed (only after I had to run down and buy 2 more sinks because the first 2 didn't fit), one minor problem, he installed the light fixtures upside down. Normally I would be a little upset but his brother is coming tomorrow to paint and will fix them.

Then on Monday the floor installers arrived at 8 a.m. and by 6 that evening I had new laminate flooring throughout the downstairs, it looks awesome!!!

I am almost kind of sad that we are selling our house because finally all the things I wanted done for the past 5 years are getting completed.

I was able to get some scrapping done over the past few days as well.
