GO HAWKS!!!!
The game is not quite over - but I am just too nervous to watch, hoping I have nails left after the game is over.
I did manage to get some work for my Etsy shop done this weekend, new birthday banners and gift card/note cards.
It has been a busy week, we listed our house so keeping it clean to show with 2 boys is always a challenge. They have been super helpful, I am very proud. I guess it just goes to show how much they want to move by their school.
Remainder of the weekend will be quiet - chilling with coffee and Downton Abbey.
Cheers!

Couple new cooks in the kitchen
For quite some time the boys have been fascinated with cooking. As a family I think we have watched every episode of Diners, Drive Ins & Dives. Cutthroat kitchen is another favorite.
So for Christmas this year Trev received his first cookbook - The One Pot Bible - the plan is to make a new recipe every weekend.
This past weekend the menu consisted of Honey Garlic Ribs, or at least it should have, you see Mom (me) forgot to actually look at the book to determine the amount of time required to make this recipe, yup, 8 hours!!! I read this at 5 p.m. On to the next plan - oven ribs.
Trevor did a wonderful job and they were the tastiest ribs ever. It's crazy how great food tastes when someone else cooks for you :)

The next morning Brendan helped me make a huge pot of chili - it is so much fun to watch the boys take such an interest in cooking. Definitely something I want to be sure to encourage.

Happy New Year - here's to a wonderful 2014
Happy New Year to everyone
This year is going to be a very busy but productive year! We have so many firsts upon the horizon and I can't wait to see how they all pan out.
- Brendan - will be in his first competitive gymnastics competitions, I can't get over how far he has come in such a short time.
- Getting ready for Tracys (my sister) wedding. Dress shopping, venue hunting (in Hawaii), etc
- Our first serious road trip. We have been on a quite a few one interstate roadtrips but this one will prove to be our next big adventure.
- Of course my Etsy shop - I will be putting a lot more time and effort into the shop this year, intending on a very busy shop :)
I hope everyone else is as excited as I am over the start of this new year, can't wait to see how it all plays out!!
Cheers
